The Shelter House Book Sale over the weekend was reportedly a huge success, and are now giving away the leftovers.
In a post from the non-profit, the group started with over 57,000 donated books, but still have several thousand left.
Starting at 10am today, community members can pick up pre-boxed books free of charge at the sale’s Coralville location, the old Antique Car Museum on Quarry Road in the Iowa River Landing.
The books are boxed up and sorted by category, but cannot be opened.
