One of the biggest names in Cedar Rapids car sales is adding a dealership in Iowa City.
The McGrath Family of Dealerships has announced it will take over ownership of Toyota of Iowa City as of April 1st.
The acquisition would make Toyota of Iowa City McGrath’s 14th local car dealership in the Corridor.
Murphy McGrath will take over as the Highway 1 West dealership’s general manager.
Toyota of Iowa City first opened in Coralville in 1981. Terms of the acquisition have not been released.
