The husband of an accused Coralville bank robber has now been charged in the case.

46-year-old Gerry Chambers of Davenport was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 2:15 Tuesday morning. Chambers’ wife, 50-year-old Yevette Bradley of West Des Moines, is accused of entering the Wells Fargo Bank branch on 2nd Street on October 5th of last year and handing a teller a note demanding money. The note said the teller would be killed if they did not comply. Bradley was arrested at the scene.

Coralville Police now say Chambers can be seen on security video taken before the robbery gathering what appears to be the disguise Bradley was wearing during the robbery. He can also be seen waiting in the couple’s car while the robbery was taking place.

Chambers and Bradley are each charged with 2nd Degree Robbery. If convicted, they each face a maximum of ten years in prison.

Bradley’s trial is set for May 3rd. A case management conference is set for Friday.
