The Wasserbaun Waterpark Resort in Williamsburg has closed its doors.
A note on the resort’s web site simply says: “We are permanently closed”, with no other details.
Current and former employees have taken to social media to claim mismanagement. Members of bands scheduled to perform future shows there say they only learned of the closing through other social media posts.
Wasserbaun has had recent issues with its waterpark, with closures due to equipment malfunctions and health violations.
