An Iowa City man accused of helping three murder suspects escape capture will be in court on Monday.
23-year-old Jordan Hogan of Cross Park Avenue has a case management conference set for 9am at the Johnson County courthouse. He’s accused of lying to detectives during the investigation into the murder of Kejuan Winters of Iowa City inside Winters’ Broadway Street apartment. Police determined Winters was shot during a botched robbery attempt.
Hogan is accused of lying to investigators to help the three suspects escape, despite having what investigators called “relevant and material information” about the men’s whereabouts after the murder. Reginald Little of Cross Park Avenue, Durojaiye Rosa of Broadway Street and Patrick Bland of Rockord, Illinois have all either made plea deals or been found guilty.
Hogan faces a charge of Obstructing Prosecution or Defense and could be sentenced to two years in prison if convicted.
