An Iowa Lodge resident was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after allegedly threatening a co-resident.

Police say that 57-year-old Rodney Boyd and the woman victim were in an argument. The woman went back to her room and Boyd allegedly started banging on her door. She then reportedly forced entry into her room, causing damage to the door.

Boyd is accused of threatening the woman, saying she was going to assault her. The woman was able to get away and went to the Iowa Lodge office. Boyd reportedly followed the woman to the office and continued to yell at her.

She was taken into custody and charged with 3rd degree Burglary, a Class D Felony punishable by a prison term of up to five years if convicted.
