Washington Police are investigating a Friday night shooting that left one person injured.
The alleged victim called 9-1-1 just after 8pm from a car parked on South Iowa Avenue. The caller reported being shot at the nearby Woodridge Apartments on West Adams Street, then fleeing the scene in the vehicle.
The gunshot victim was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Their condition has not been released.
Washington Police say they believe the victim and the shooter knew each other. The investigation is ongoing.
