A bicyclist was killed in a Christmas afternoon accident just south of Walford.
According to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the bicyclist was riding northbound on Linn Benton Road between Walford and Knapp Creek just before 2:30 Saturday afternoon when they were struck by a northbound 2017 Ford Escape being driven by Holly Dubishar of Amana.
The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
