An Iowa City man has been found guilty of first degree murder in the April 2020 shooting death of Kejuan Winters.

Little was arrested in Texas the following month and charged in the fatal shooting and attempted robbery of the 21-year-old in his Broadway Street apartment.

Little, Durojaiye Rosa of Broadway Street and Patrick Bland of Rockford Illinois were all charged with first degree murder, with Rosa allegedly telling investigators at the time that the men entered Winters’ apartment only intending to rob him, not shoot him. Winters died at the scene.

Bland could be sentenced to up to 60 years. His plea hearing is scheduled for tomorrow morning.

Rosa’s agreement calls for 17 ½ years of mandatory prison time for 1st degree robbery, 1st degree burglary and voluntary manslaughter. He could be sentenced to up to 50 years. His plea hearing will take place the morning of December 17th.
