University of Iowa volleyball coach terminated

_{University of Iowa women’s volleyball coach Vicki Brown has been terminated.}

_{In a release from Iowa Athletics on Thursday, Athletic Director Gary Barta said the department appreciates Coach Brown’s five years of service, and wish her luck going forward.}

_{The release also stated that Brown was terminated without cause.}

_{In her two-plus seasons as head coach, Brown’s Hawkeye teams compiled a 17-56 record. They’re currently 3-19 on the season with eight matches remaining. They host Indiana at XTream Arena in Coralville tonight and Wisconsin tomorrow night. Both matches start at 7 pm.}

_{Assistant coaches Dave Brown and William Tatge will oversee the team while a national search for a new coach takes place.}
