A Solon woman has been arrested after a one-vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Interstate 80.
Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the accident scene on I-80 eastbound between the Coral Ridge and 1st Avenue exits in Coralville just after midnight. Investigators say the accident involved a 2013 Cadillac XTS being driven by 40-year-old Veronica Haasl of Meadow Ridge Road. Haasl allegedly showed signs of intoxication, admitted to drinking before driving, and performed poorly on field sobriety tests.
Police say Haasl refused breath testing. She was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated.
