Cedar Rapids Police say multiple people were shot at a Southwest Side hotel Friday night.
According to a CRPD news release, officers were called to the Ramada Inn on 33rd Avenue SW just before 10:30pm for a report of shots fired. Investigators discovered several people with gunshot wounds, although none of the injuries appeared to be life-threatening.
Evidence was collected, and the victims were transported to area hospitals.
The investigation is ongoing.
