An Iowa City man was taken into custody on a warrant stemming from an August 28th incident where he was allegedly found naked in a city park.
Police say a woman was walking her dog at Benton Hill Park on the day in question at approximately 11am when she saw 63-year-old Michelle Dubois Touchette lying on his back on an elevated park structure, naked.
The woman claimed that Touchette was fondling his genitals and touching his anus. When she confronted Touchette, he reportedly covered himself but didn’t offer any explanation. When an officer arrived on scene, he was wearing only shorts and claimed to have been sunbathing.
A warrant was issued for his arrest and Touchette was taken into custody Sunday afternoon. He’s been charged with Indecent Exposure, a serious misdemeanor punishable by a jail term of up to one year if convicted.
The woman requested a no-contact order.
