The Iowa State Patrol has identified the pedestrian killed in a Friday afternoon accident in North Liberty.
31-year-old Terry Christian of Coralville was killed when, according to the State Patrol, he “intentionally encountered and boarded” a westbound 2017 Chevy pickup on Penn Street near Liberty Way just after 12:15pm. The driver has been identified as 51-year-old Todd Edler Sr. of Marion. Edler was not injured.
There is no indication if charges have been filed. The incident remains under investigation.
