Hawkeyes ranked 18th in AP Preseason poll

The Associated Press top 25 Preseason College Football Poll is out, and the Iowa Hawkeyes are ranked 18th.

Iowa kicks off the season September 4th with a home game against Indiana, who are ranked 17th in the national poll. They then head to Ames to play the Iowa State Cyclones, who are ranked 7th in the preseason poll.

Iowa’s other two ranked opponents are big ten rivals Wisconsin, ranked 12th, and Penn State, ranked just below Iowa at 19th.

The Indiana game kicks off at 2:30pm and will be shown on the Big Ten Network. The Iowa State game on September 11th is slated for a 3:30pm kickoff and will be telecast on ABC.

The Hawkeyes have two home games to finish out September; on the 18th versus Kent State with a 2:30 kickoff that will be shown on the Big Ten Network, and on the 25th versus Colorado State. Kickoff time and network have yet to be determined.
