An arrest has been made after the second shots fired incident in three days at the Town & Campus apartments.

Iowa City Police say 23-year-old Ka’Leck Bolden, who lives at the Arthur Street complex, was involved in a physical fight outside his residence just after 9:15 Saturday night. Bolden allegedly pulled out a firearm and shot at the people with whom he was fighting. The entire incident was caught on security video.

Bolden allegedly admitted to having a firearm, and a Ruger SR 40 was found in his vehicle. The serial number had been completely obliterated. Court records show Bolden has felony convictions for theft and eluding out of Black Hawk County.

Bolden is charged with Dominion or Control of a Firearm as a Felon. If convicted, he faces a maximum of five years in prison.

It is unknown if Saturday night’s incident is related to a Thursday night shots fired incident at Town & Campus in which a woman was hit and taken to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics for treatment of what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Police say the woman is not being cooperative with investigators, but witnesses reported seeing several people fleeing the scene in separate vehicles, one possibly being a white truck.
