A Marengo woman faces charges that she ransacked a Lone Tree residence.

The alleged victim told police that he was sitting with his girlfriend in the garage of his Center Street residence at 11:45 Saturday night when 28-year-old Taylor Storck of Eastern Avenue opened the door. Witnesses say Storck appeared shocked to see people inside and quickly left.

Storck was already gone by the time the resident made it to the front door. He then looked inside and noticed that his couch and television had been broken, and multiple items were thrown around the house. Damage was estimated at $2,600.

Storck was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 1:30 Sunday morning and charged with 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief. If convicted, she faces a maximum of five years in prison.
