With the possibility of a dry summer, a rain barrel can be a great tool to help keep plants watered.
In the July Sustainability Newsletter, the city of Iowa City announced that Green Iowa AmeriCorps has 50 barrels and conversion kits to connect to resident’s downspouts on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pickup date is July 10th, and you can register for the barrels and get complete information using the link below.
