Allegedly selling meth outside of a mall has led to an Iowa City man’s arrest.

Iowa City Police say 36-year-old Roosevelt Randle of Bancroft Drive sold approximately 1/8th of an ounce of methamphetamine for $100 in the parking lot of the Iowa City Marketplace just after 3:45pm on February 26th. DCI testing confirmed the 3.41 ounces of substance was meth.

Randle was booked into the Johnson County Jail just before 7pm Friday and charged with a Controlled Substance Violation. If convicted, he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
