The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is seeking community feedback regarding the American Rescue Plan Act and Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund.

Johnson County government is expecting $29.3 million to address the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic fallout. The board is inviting residents, businesses and community organizations to provide feedback about their priorities for the use of the funds.

The funding guidelines require that programs and projects must be tied to one of the allowable uses. They include supporting public health response, addressing negative economic impacts, replacing public sector revenue loss, providing premium pay to essential workers, and making necessary investments to water, sewer and broadband infrastructure.

A survey is available on the county’s website; a link to the survey is available under this story on our website, Facebook and Twitter.
