Multiple law enforcement agencies coordinated Tuesday morning to serve search warrants at three residences in regards to recent shooting incidents.

In a release from Iowa City Police, they announced that the warrants were served at 2162 Davis Street and 1840 South Gilbert Street in Iowa City, as well as 715 ½ 10th Avenue in Coralville.

The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Coralville Police, and the Sixth Judicial District Department of Corrections joined Iowa City police with executing the warrants. The Iowa City Metro Response Team and the Johnson County Special Emergency Response Team were brought in as well, due to the high-risk nature of the warrants, which involved firearms.

The release says that the warrants were served without incident, and information about potential criminal charges or items seized has not been released, as this is an ongoing and active investigation.
