University of Iowa Police are investigating a string of residence hall burglaries.

According to a news release from the UI Department of Public Safety, UI Police have received three reports of potential burglaries occurring in three different residence halls between February 16th and March 1st.

UI Police say they strongly encourage all residence hall occupants and those in the campus community to lock their doors at all times, even if they are only leaving their rooms for a short time. Residents are also encouraged to report suspicious activity immediately by calling 9-1-1.

If you have any additional information about these incidents, UI Police ask that you call them at (319) 335-5022, or submit an anonymous crime tip by using the Rave Guardian app.
