The University of Iowa has announced that spring 2021 commencement is moving to a virtual format. In Wednesday’s UI COVID-19 update, school officials say they made the decision to maintain the health and safety of the entire campus community. The new virtual graduation format will still allow for participation from friends and family.
The university plans to reach out to spring 2021 and all 2020 graduates regarding opportunities to be recognized at future in-person programs to celebrate their accomplishments.
