A Coralville man who crashed into several cars this past summer while under the influence of PCP has been charged with OWI.

Police say that 31-year-old Terry Christian of 10th Street was westbound on Holiday Road the evening of August 11th and was involved in multiple collisions. He was evaluated at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and a blood draw was taken for an OWI investigation.

The results came back positive for PCP, and a warrant was requested. It was granted on Monday, and Christian was charged on Wednesday with his first OWI, a serious misdemeanor. If convicted, he faces up to a year in prison.
