An Iowa City woman was taken into custody Thursday afternoon after allegedly throwing an object at a man during a domestic incident.

According to reports, a verbal argument began between 55-year-old Dana Easson of Taylor Drive and the man at a residence on Muscatine Avenue. At one point in the argument, Easson is accused of taking a glass candle warmer and throwing it at the man. She then reportedly followed him into a bedroom and threatened to stab him with a screwdriver.

The man was uninjured as the candle warmer missed him.
