Warnock gets Honorable Mention Player of the Week

Every week Caitlin Clark has played for the Hawkeyes, the Big Ten has taken notice.
On Monday, the conference awarded her Freshman of the Week for the fifth time. In the two games Iowa played against Rutgers and Illinois, Clark averaged 24 1/2 points, five rebounds, and five assists in the victories. In the Rutgers game, Clark scored 12 of the Hawkeyes’ final 21 points.
The only week Clark was not tapped for the award was the week ending December 20th, because their only game, against Ohio State, was postponed.
The Big Ten also awarded McKenna Warnock with Player of the Week Honor Roll. She averaged 18 points 8 rebounds and 2 assists. In the two games, she shot 72.2 percent from the field, including 69.2 percent from 3 point range.
The Hawkeyes return home to face Minnesota on Wednesday night. The 6pm game will be streamed on BTN Plus.
