A man who threw a vodka bottle through a window at Cross Park Place, threatened employees and soiled himself is back behind bars.

53-year-old Charles Coln was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 12:30 Sunday afternoon. He was released 13 minutes later.

Police say Coln was wanted for failing to appear at a November 4th probation revocation hearing. The details of the probation violation are not listed in online records.

Coln pleaded guilty to 3rd Degree Criminal Mischief and 1st Degree Harassment charges after an incident at Cross Park Place in September of 2019. According to police, Coln approached a female employee and told her to raise her shirt for him. He was asked to leave the alcohol that was in his possession outside the facility as per resident rules.

Coln became belligerent, taking an empty vodka bottle and smashing it against a double pane window in front of the facility. The window, valued at $4,000, broke from the force of the throw. When staff and another resident went inside to avoid Coln, he attempted to get inside the locked facility, banging on the door and allegedly saying he was going to kill them.

When police arrived, they noted Coln had bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, unsteady balance, had soiled his clothes and smelled of urine and alcohol.
