A bicycle-riding Illinois man threw a tantrum after he was refused service at an Iowa City drive-thu, leading to his arrest.

Iowa City Police were called to Wendy’s on 1st Avenue just after 10pm on July 3rd for a male throwing items at employees. An investigation determined that 26-year-old Bryant Skipper of Chicago rode his bike up to the drive-thu window to place an order, but was refused service because he wasn’t in an automobile. Bryant became upset and allegedly forced open the window. Police say he then threw two sodas, with one can hitting and breaking a computer terminal. Bryant then allegedly made a gesture indicating he was going to hit an employee.

Bryant was charged with Disorderly Conduct. If convicted he faces a maximum of 30 days in jail.

An initial court appearance is set for September 4th.
