A North Liberty woman was taken into custody Saturday night after being found at the residence of a protected party.

Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Highway 1 West just before 6:20pm on reports of a 911 hangup. The arriving officer discovered 39-year-old Regina Pulley of East Zeller Street banging on a door and yelling. As the officer was walking into the building, Pulley approached him in a hallway.

Pulley allegedly lied about her identity, calling herself Kelly, but reportedly later admitted to the ruse. Pulley also admitted that there was a protection order in place between her and the resident, but she had come over to pick up some property from the victim.

Once Pulley arrived, she heard another woman inside, and began banging on the door.

She was taken into custody and charged with violation of the no-contact order; she was released on Sunday morning.
