The 2020 Johnson County Fair may have been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but that didn’t stop Johnson County 4-H from holding the annual Fair Queen ceremony.

This year’s ceremony was held virtually in front of a small crowd Sunday night, streaming live from the fairgrounds on Facebook. All 11 contestants wore masks for most of the evening along with their usual gowns.

The 2020 Johnson County Fair Queen was announced as Lauren Roman, with Grace Helle being named Fair Princess.

The entire ceremony can be seen on the Johnson County 4-H Facebook page.
