North Liberty mayor Terry Donahue posted a message to residents: please stay at home.
In the post, issued on Sunday, Donahue said, “The need to practice cleaning your grocery carts, wash you hands and practice good overall hygiene is getting old. So, what do we do?The same things we have been doing…now, more than ever, we need to be conscious of our surroundings.”
Donahue advised citizens to take necessary trips quickly and carefully, and while the city has kept parks and trails open, he urges people to be careful how you interact with persons coming towards you.
Finally, the mayor’s message said directly, “I implore one and all: please stay at home. It’s a must for everyone.”
