A Tiffin man has been taken into custody after allegedly being found with numerous drugs in his vehicle.
Police say that 30-year-old Joshua Setzer of Summerhayes Street was called in as a suspicious person in a vehicle parked in the 500 block of Kimberlite Street Sunday just before 1:30pm.
Upon arrival, officers found Setzer passed out in the driver’s seat, reportedly with drug paraphernalia in plain sight. He allegedly admitted to having methamphetamine and marijuana in the vehicle. A subsequent search reportedly turned up meth, marijuana, prescription pills, numerous meth and marijuana pipes, a drug scale, and small baggies in a backpack belonging to Setzer. Xanax tablets were also allegedly located in a container on Setzer’s key chain.
Setzer has been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, and a controlled substance violation. If convicted on all charges, Setzer could be sentenced to over eleven years in prison.
