Posting “unflattering” photos online has led to charges against a local transient.
Iowa City Police say 29-year-old Roosevelt Strowder admitted to posting what were described as “unflattering” pictures and statements about the victim on social media, causing the victim to feel “horrible and embarrassed”. The address of the offense is listed as a residence on Hollywood Court.
Strowder is charged with 3rd Degree Harassment, a Simple Misdemeanor punishable by a maximum of 30 days in jail. A preliminary hearing is set for March 31st.
