Iowa City Police say a man made a gun threat at a downtown nightclub late Saturday night.
According to arrest records, 20-year-old Kenan Modronja of Urbandale was being kicked out of The Union Bar just after 11:45pm when he made a general threat about having a gun. Arriving officers noticed Modronja displaying multiple signs of intoxication. He allegedly admitted to drinking, and was found in possession of a fake ID indicating he was over 21 years of age.
Modronja was arrested and charged with Public Intoxication and Possession of a Fictitious ID. There is no indication in arrest records if a gun was found on Modronja’s person.
