An area department store has announced it will be shutting down operations in Coralville and Cedar Rapids.
KCRG TV reports that the Gordmans chain announced operations will be shut down by the end of May.
The Corridor Business Journal reports that Coralville employees were notified of the closing last week. Gordmans was founded in 1915 and sells a variety of items from apparel to toys.
If you need your Gordmans fix after May, the company says they will keep their Davenport store open.
