Coralville police say a man ordered flooring for his home, cancelled payment after delivery, then had a third party install it.

According to arrest records, 35-year-old Carlos Medina ordered flooring and had it delivered to his Ozark Ridge home on January 30th. Police say Medina then immediately cancelled the check he had written for the flooring three days earlier. Medina then had a third party install the flooring without paying for it.

Medina was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 4:30 Tuesday afternoon and charged with 3rd Degree Theft. If convicted, he faces a maximum of two years in prison.
