A Solon woman is accused of threatening an officer’s life while being arrested Wednesday.
According to authorities, 41-year-old Almitra Narcy of Sandy Drive Northeast was reported for hitting a mailbox and going into a ditch on Curtis Bridge Road in Swisher at around 10:40pm. Upon arrival, officers found Narcy still in the driver’s seat with the car running.
Police say Narcy was extremely impaired, with red, bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech and had the odor of ingested alcohol. She reportedly refused to give a PBT, but officers were able to record alcohol on her breath by holding the device close to her nose.
Narcy refused to walk and had to be escorted to the squad car. That’s when Narcy allegedly kicked and threatened, the officer, saying he was dead and threatened additional harm to him.
Narcy is charged with her second OWI, an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by a prison sentence of up to two years if convicted.
