Johnson County Sheriff’s deputies have made an arrest in connection to an Oxford burglary case.
22-year-old Samuel Linneman of Belle Plaine was booked into the Johnson County jail at 8am Friday. According to arrest records, Linneman was seen on a doorbell security video breaking into a garage at 3334 Blackhawk Avenue around 11:45 Wednesday night. Linneman later admitted to taking between $350 and $750 in property. He also damaged five window screens while trying to enter the residence.
Linneman is charged with 2nd Degree Burglary, 4th Degree Criminal Mischief and 4th Degree Theft. If convicted on all charges, he faces a maximum of 12 years in prison.
