A Swisher woman faces charges that she defrauded her North Liberty employer out of over $10,000.

According to North Liberty Police, 42-year-old Angela Stull of Swisher View Drive was employed by Christian’s Carpets on Ranshaw Way in June of 2017 when she got a hold of a company credit card, created a login under her own name, and issued a card for herself under her name. She also allegedly changed the billing address to her own.

Stull then allegedly used the new card to make over $10,000 in personal purchases through last February. Police say she then used company funds to pay off the credit card bill each month.

Stull was booked into the Johnson County Jail just after 4:15 Friday morning and charged with 1st Degree Theft. If convicted, she faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
