A North Liberty woman faces child endangerment charges after allegedly crashing her vehicle while intoxicated late Saturday night.

Police say they were called to the 2300 block of Mehaffey Bridge Road Northeast around 10:30pm on reports of a crashed vehicle. Upon arrival, they came upon a 2017 Toyota Camry. A check of the vehicle ID showed it registered to 35-year-old Krystin Tallman of Pine Ridge Road Northeast.

Officers made contact with Tallman at her residence. She allegedly admitted to crashing her car and then walking home with her daughter in tow.

Tallman had bloodshot watery eyes, slurred speech, and impaired balance. She refused field sobriety testing, but blew a .216 on a PBT and .240 on Datamaster.

Tallman was taken into custody and charged with her second OWI and Child Endangerment. She could be sentenced to up to four years in prison if convicted on both counts.
