A Johnson County Jail inmate faces an additional charge after an incident Saturday.
39-year-old Nickoles Dehererra of Shelter House has been at the jail since January 17th on a second degree robbery charge. He was confined to a holding cell when the incident occurred at approximately 3:37am. Authorities had removed his toilet paper because he was using it to cover the security camera in the cell, but was given a small amount at his request. Dehererra then requested more, and when the deputy opened the hatch door to hand it to them, Dehererra allegedly threw a feces-covered piece of toilet paper at the deputy.
He now faces a charge of Assault on Persons in Certain Occupations on top of the original charge. If convicted on both charges, he could be sentenced to up to over ten years in prison.
