A two-car accident blocked off 1st Avenue in Iowa City late Saturday night.
Few details have been released. The accident was reported just after 10:15 p.m. in front of Wendy’s. Police closed off parts of 1st Avenue south of Mall Drive as the investigation continued. Staff at the 1st Avenue Club told KCJJ their driveway was closed off, preventing their patrons from leaving.
1st Avenue was still blocked off as of midnight.
