College Street Blocks 500-900 to be cleaned March 26-27; cars left on street will be towed

Weather permitting, City of Iowa City Streets crews will be performing routine pothole repair and street cleaning in sections of College Street on March 26-27, 2025. Signage will be posted and vehicles not moved prior to the beginning of operations will be towed.

The impacted areas are:

• Wednesday, March 26: south side of 500-900 Blocks of College Street (between Van Buren Street and Summit Street)
• Thursday, March 27: north side of 500-900 Blocks of College Street (between Van Buren Street and Summit Street)

City Code requires that vehicles must be moved every 48-hours or could be subject to being towed. A list of other common parking violations can be found at our website.
