Iowa City street maintenance and cleaning planned for next week

Weather permitting, City of Iowa City Streets crews will be performing routine street maintenance and cleaning in sections of Iowa Avenue March 17th through the 19th.
Signage will be posted and vehicles not moved prior to the beginning of operations will be towed.
Work will occur….
Monday, March 17: South side of the 400, 500, and 600 blocks of Iowa Avenue
Tuesday, March 18: South side of 700, 800, and 900 blocks of Iowa Avenue
Wednesday, March 19: North side of 700, 800, and 900 blocks of Iowa Avenue
Community members are reminded that City Code requires that vehicles must be moved every 48-hours or could be subject to being towed.
