Summer of the Arts announced their Friday Night Concert Series lineup on KCJJ Thursday morning.
The Series will kick off on May 16 with a performance by the Iowa Steel Band. Local high school Jazz assembles return, including new performers by West Liberty High AND West High Jazz Ensembles. Throughout the summer, audiences can enjoy a diverse range of music, including jazz, folk, blues, and rock. Special highlights include the Diplomats of Solid Sound on June 27, a Juneteenth Celebration on June 20, and Dandelion Stompers on August 1. The series will conclude on September 26 with a Signal Flow Productions showcase.
In case of inclement weather, concerts will move to the Chauncey Swan Parking Ramp lower level at Washington and Gilbert Streets. Rain location updates will be announced by 4 p.m. on the day of the performance via the Summer of the Arts website and social media.
