The City of Hills will be holding a special election on May 13th to fill a vacancy on the city council.
Candidates must file their Affidavit of Candidacy and Nomination Petition with the Auditor’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on April 18th. Ten signatures are required on the nomination petition.
Requests for a mailed absentee ballot are being accepted now through April 28th at 5:00 p.m.
Early voting will be available at the Johnson County Auditor’s Office from April 23rd through May 12th on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Election day voting will be open 7:00 am – 8:00 pm on May 13 at the Hills Community Center.
