With warmer weather arriving, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office is warning local rural residents about what they should do if they plan to conduct a controlled burn.
The sheriff’s office says to always check the weather conditions, and always report a prescribed burn to the Joint Emergency Communications Center at 319-356-6800.
