Multiple agencies responded to a barn fire between Iowa City and Kalona.
According to dispatch records, firefighters from Kalona, Wellman, Riverside, Hills, Oxford, Washington, North Liberty and Lone Tree all responded to 4805 Hazelwood Avenue SW near Highway 1 just before 2:00 Saturday afternoon, where a large multilevel barn was engulfed. The Oxford Fire Department reports animals and other structures were saved.
No other details have been released.
