The University of Iowa is seeking permission from the Iowa Board of Regents to proceed with four facilities projects—three of which have received preliminary approval and one new proposal.

The projects include a new child care center to replace the one currently located in the Westlawn building; a new five-story, $96 million Arena Parking Ramp to be built on the northwest portion of Dental Parking Lot 33, across the street from Carver-Hawkeye Arena; renovations to the Iowa Memorial Union; and a $2.4 million renovation of the first level of Mayflower Residence Hall.

More details about all four projects can be found here.

The next Regents meeting is set for February 27th in Urbandale.
