A Davenport man was arrested Friday after allegedly posting multiple photos of a woman who has a no-contact order against him.
According to the criminal complaint, 25-year-old Matthew Goodall posted the photos between December 18th and 19th. The photos, which allegedly show the victim in a state of partial nudity and engaging in sex acts with Goodall, were reportedly posted on two separate public Instagram accounts. The photos were identified by the woman, who said she did not give consent to post the photos.
When interviewed, Goodall allegedly admitted to being the owner of the Instagram accounts and to posting the photos. A no-contact order issued on July 31st of last year was still active between Goodall and the woman, who is listed as the protected person. The order states that Goodall is prohibited from electronically or otherwise posting images or videos of the protected person.
Goodall has been charged with 1st degree Harassment and violation of the no-contact order. If convicted on both charges, he could be sentenced to up to 25 months in jail.
